Who We Are
User Centred Design Ltd is a Usability Consultancy, directed and run by Jim McCool [Usability Professionals Association], which provides information architecture, user centred design and development services, to such major Blue Chip companies as Vodafone, Euroclear, Symbian, and BT.com.
Jim is currently based in Horsell, near Woking in Surrey [UK], but often provides on-site Consultancy services to companies in the 'City', London's financial heartland. In addition, Jim works with clients across Europe, particularly in the financial centres of Brussels and Paris, and for Vodafone in Germany.
With wide ranging experience in the financial, mobile, telecoms and broadband sectors, with both offline and online applications, Jim promotes a pragmatic User Centred Design strategy. This strategy has proved successful in the design of various types of user interfaces from complex Content Management Systems, to
financial trading platforms, to offline search systems for Documentation libraries.
